I recently discovered Blu-Ray and Instant Netflix. Yeah, I know I'm way behind the times. But I love it!
We turned off the satelite at our house. And as someone who enjoys having the TV playing in the background while working on crafty stuff, I was a little sad about this.
So solution time!
With part of my tax refund, I bought a blu-ray player and got Netflix. (The rest of my refund went to practical stuff--my car.) I was fortunate enough to find exactly what I wanted on the way cheap. Like $80.00 cheap. For a wireless blu-ray player. Top that! I am quite proud of my find. In case you couldn't tell. :) And it works. And it has a little protection plan so if it stops working, I can get a new one with out paying anything. Booyah!
So I've forgotten what a commercial is. I don't have to watch them anymore. I've watched a few TV series that I hadn't been able to watch when they were on. Like Ugly Betty. I love that show! I'm sad that I just now discovered it and that it is cancelled.
Anyway. So I'm happy again. I have TV, sorta.
In an unrelated note, here is my picture for the day:
I pass this little hill every day and I think it is so pretty, especially with all the beautiful green grass. The picture doesn't do it justice. I think my phone's camera is being funky. Anyway. For some reason this hill always makes me think of the Sermon on the Mount. I'm not really sure why, but it does. And that makes me happy.
