A Happy Sabbath
I love Sundays! I love how restful they are. I love how the Lord set apart one day a week to be His, allowing us to take the Sacrament and re-energize ourselves.
For example, right now I am sitting here chillin' beside the fire (literally-it's kinda cold in my house) watching Enchanted. I have had all day to read my scriptures, study for my talk next week (side bar: After the Bishop asked me and I was saying goodbye, he told me, "Oh, by the way, President Murphy (our Stake President) will be there. Good luck!"--uh, yeah, okay.) Where was I, oh yeah, Sundays...I love them!
I love going to Church. Someone once asked me why I love going to Church. I love going because of a lot of reasons. But one has always stuck in my mind. It is because it is an opportunity for me to renew my baptismal covenant by taking the Sacrament. There is a lot more to it than that, but I don't want this to turn into a talk. :)
I'm also can't remember a Sunday where it wasn't beautiful outside. Even on the Sundays where it is gray and rainy outside--like today, it is beautiful. The grass outside was very green and it contrasted beautifully with the gray clouds.
Anyway...I am starting to ramble, so I better end. But the moral of my rambling thoughts--I love Sundays and I love how I feel so restful and relaxed on Sundays. :)
