Monterey Mini Scrapbook Album

I've been working on a mini-album for my trip to Monterey a couple of months ago. And I think it turned out quite nice. :) I've decided that I like making big scrapbooks for other people and mini albums for me. I have a hard time keeping up with a big scrapbook for me (unless its a specific event like our family trip to Disneyland a few years ago).

Since I decided to do a Mini-album, I thought it would be fun to do something different. So I did an ABC album. It was hard to come up with a word or two that describes the trip for each letter of the alphabet. I did a lot of looking through a thesaurus. And no judging me with the ones I did come up with. :)

Because it's the beach, I decided to to do a cool-toned beach theme (fairly obvious choice). I found 12x12 chipboard at Joanns and then cut them so they were 5 3/4" high x 12" long. Weird measurements, but I liked the height better just under 6". Most of the paper is Bo Bunny and some by My Mind's Eye which I found it at my local scrapbook store. All the pictures and papers are inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink--Faded Jeans (i'm obsessed!). The binding is actually just twine that I picked up at my local dollar store. I used my trusty ATG as the adhesive for everything (I'm amazed at how well it sticks!).Oh and I used Stickles, lots and lots of stickles! :)

There are 28 pages total (one for each letter of the alphabet, plus covers). I'm going to break up the pictures into two posts. Hope you enjoy. If it's not too obnoxious to say, I really love how it turned out. :)

Alright, here are pictures of the pages:

I'll post the other half of the book tomorrow. Thanks for looking!
